Diversity and Inclusion Strategy
CRDL is committed to growing and evolving to reflect the values and standards of our community. We acknowledge this has been a process we have fallen short on in the past, and are now moving forward with continuous systemic and structural change, redeveloping CRDL’s approach to diversity and inclusion. Our Diversity and Inclusion Strategy (DIS) is our mechanism for implementing systemic and structural changes which will redevelop CRDL’s approach to diversity and inclusion. The efforts and outputs under the strategy are continuous. Our strategy has been through internal consultation with members, the public and been developed in consultation with expert diversity and inclusion focused organisations. We would like to thank those organisations and our members for their contributions. This version of the DIS will remain active and current until it is reviewed and updated in 2025. CRDL’s volunteers will be working tirelessly over this period to see the DIS goals fulfilled and move our organisation further along this journey to becoming a more inclusive and diverse space.
