As CRDL was growing steadily and more skaters reached the skill level to bout competitively, the league expanded to four teams. In keeping with the Canberra linked team names established with the Surly Griffins and the Black ‘n’ Blue Belles, the two newer teams have connections to the local region.

The Red Bellied Black Hearts and the Brindabelters had a smashing debut season in late 2010. While the league has retained the initial two team names, all the players were re-drafted to ensure a spread of experienced and newer skaters across the four new team line-ups.

The Vice City Rollers are CRDL’s representative team for interleague bouts. This team is drafted from CRDL home teams. The Rollers played their very first bout against Adelaide Roller Derby at the Great Southern Slam in June 2010, and continue to play competitively with other leagues from all across Australia.

And we can't forget our fantastic referees on Team Zebra! Without them, there wouldn't be any derby.
